SAPIE sa v týchto dňoch pridalo k viac než 145 signatárom otvoreného listu , ktorí vyjadrili veľké obavy nad aktuálnou diskusiou COREPER o navrhovanej smernici o autorských právach na digitálnom jednotnom trhu.

Balíček obsahuje dva návrhy, ktoré si vyslúžili kritiku nielen od predstaviteľov digitálnej ekonomiky, ale aj od OECD, ktorá neodporúča zavedenie prechodných a jednostranných opatrení z dielne EÚ.
