June marks the fourth anniversary of the founding of SAPIE, the largest innovative alliance in Slovakia with over 60 members. We act as an independent non-profit platform representing digital economy in building public-private & regional partnerships and advocating for innovation on the national & EU level.

In the four years of our existence, we have been a driving force of the Slovak innovative community through network building and facilitation of cooperation between startups, scaleups, corporate members, NGOs and public sector.

Since 2014, we have grown from 11 founding members to over 60 members and partners in Slovakia and across the EU. 13 members of SAPIE have been featured in the Slovak list of Forbes 30 under 30, 15 members have been featured in the New Europe Challengers selected by regional leaders and featured in Financial Times.

Activities focusing on our three pillars - innovative education, startup ecosystem and global scaleups - help build positive PR of Slovakia as a tech hub in the heart of Europe. So far, we have organized more than 30 high level events with key stakeholders and published 6 reports on the state of Slovak startup & scaleup ecosystem.

We have come a long way since 2014 on our mission of helping innovation grow.
