Winners of the Digivitality Project Pitching

Within our Digivitality project, we selected 8 most promising startups from 35 applicants. The quality of many startups made the selection process tough, but the key criteria, apart of medical and business potential of proposed solutions, was the fit to the challenges defined by partnering hospitals. These startups will received multi-dimensional support within our one-year-long acceleration programme:

  • They will receive trainings and 1:1 mentoring on various business aspects such as funding, sales, product strategy, commercialization, etc.

  • They will partner with hospitals to test their products in a real environment and receive feedback from medical experts

  • They will partner with medtechs to receive guidelines on how to make the product most successful on the healthcare market.

We proudly present you the winners of the Pitching competition that made it through:

ZenZen/Germany
ZenZen is a companion app designed for pregnant women, focusing on metabolic health, particularly for those dealing with gestational diabetes and PCOS. It uses advanced technologies like Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Image Recognition to provide personalized nutrition plans, track health data such as carb intake and blood sugar levels, and offer knowledge and emotional support throughout the pregnancy journey.

BioMedicalLab/Italy
The key product is “PD-Watch” medical device (acronym for Parkinson’s disease watch). It is a tool based on the use of a wrist-worn system for the selective detection of the motor signs related to Parkinson’s disease. The recognizable features of this tool rely on continuous and long-term recording, improved capability in distinguishing between normal movements from pathological motor behaviour, and the opportunity of compiling reports containing a comprehensive breakdown of the recording results.

Revital/CZ
REVital is a developer of a hardware-agnostic remote patient monitoring solution targeting cardiac health.
They take data from people's devices and deliver it directly to doctors. Their solution doesn't require users to change their lifestyles of purchase new devices.

Predicting Health/Austria
Predicting Health specializes in revolutionizing medical risk assessment through the integration of advanced machine learning technology with deep clinical process understanding. They have developed the "Personalised Risk Tool," a certified medical product, designed to enable efficient, precise, and automated risk stratification in hospitals without the need for additional data collection. This tool helps in early identification of patients at risk of developing complications such as delirium, falls, and pneumonia, which are often preventable and significantly impact patient safety, workload, and hospital costs.

Autocast/Germany

Startup dedicated to revolutionizing diabetic foot care with a preventative app. Their commitment to personalized care means tailoring solutions to each patient's needs for optimal comfort and effectiveness. Leveraging innovative technology, they empower diabetic patients to monitor and manage their foot health proactively, reducing the risk of ulcers and complications.

VrVitalis/CZ
Uses virtual reality for rehabilitation. They make rehabilitation available not only to patients, but also to clients of social services (for example, in homes for the elderly, in palliative care or home care) and also in companies as prevention for employees against motion sickness or problems resulting from stress and heavy workload. For medical facilities, they offer the possibility to make rehabilitation more efficient, reduce the workload of physiotherapists, increase the number of patients and also motivate patients to exercise more.

UCareMedical/ITALY
U-Care Medical is developing innovative digital medical devices powered by proprietary Artificial Intelligence algorithms to support critical care clinicians in preventing future clinical complication during the patient's stay in the intensive care unit in order to save patients' lives, improve the quality of life and avoid additional costs.
