Lucia Šicková
Co-founder, Education Program Manager
Lucia is a co-founder of Pixel Federation and Edufactory, mother of 3, learner and explorer by heart. Currently she leads Education Program in Pixel Federation and she is a co-founder of Butterfly Effect, an educational program providing practical education for digital business.
Her background is a mixture of creative jobs around film, web and game development and pragmatic HR related positions in corporate environment and consulting and it always evolves around organizing, networking, creativity, people, education, technology and innovation. Currently she is in charge of education and people development within Pixel Federation and several educational initiatives managed or supported by Edufactory.
As a board member of SAPIE, her primary focus is on digital and entrepreneurial education.
Šimon Šicko
CEO
Šimon is a co-founder and Executive Director of Pixel Federation, an independent game publisher and developer. After finishing his studies of architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, he shortly worked at his field, being part of Jan Bahna's AA Atelier of Architecture.
In 2002 he started to develop computer games and since 2003 he held a position of the Lead Concept Designer for Slovak subsidiary of German studio 10Tacle. In 2007 he co-founded Pixel Federation with three other co-founders. Their first major success came in 2010 with the game TrainStation, that currently has 1 million active players per month. Pixel Federation creates online browser, social and mobile games and is currently developing its 4 successful titles (TrainStation, Diggys Adventure, Emporea, Big Shopkeeper) for mobile platforms as well.
