Tomáš Barnáš
Co-founder & CEOTomáš got the title "Master of Arts" after graduating from the Faculty of design at the Technical University in Košice.
Already during his studies, he got an internship at the Volkswagen Design Center in Wolfsburg, Germany. Right after the internship, he had the opportunity to work for VW on motor-sport cars design, such as Polo WRC and several generations of the Golf GTI TCR. After a few years he moved to the department of the Interior design for serial-production cars. What he considers to be his greatest success is the redesign of the Volkswagen logo, which replaced the previous logo in 2020.
Tomáš's interest in new technologies and his experience in various 3D software, combined with Marek Stolarčík's skills in drone piloting and video production, led them in 2016 to the technology of photogrammetry and the establishment of the Overhead s.r.o.. Thanks to their artistic background, they bring creativity into 3D scanning and so create any kind of applications. Their motto in every project is: "We don't leave the results of our projects depending on people's imagination. We show them what they would have never imagined."
In 2020, he became a co-founder of the German design studio DeAPEX GmbH focusing on the Transport and Interior Design, where he combines design with photogrammetry, 3D scanning and virtual reality in an innovative way.
Marek Stolarčík
Co-founder & CEOMarek Stolarčík studied Intermedia and Digital Media at the Academy of Fine Arts in Banská Bystrica. After a study internship at the Escola Superior de Artes e Design in Porto and several work internships abroad, he received a title "Master of Arts".
Already during his university time he founded the creative studio VYROBILO. sk, which helps companies and tourist regions, not only from Slovakia, with their promotion and digital marketing by video production and visual communication. Marek applied his interest in new technologies and multimedia overlaps not only in his art projects (interactive installation) but also in the commercial sphere. Thanks to this, the first interactive 360˚ video from Slovakia comes from VYROBILO.sk production.
Marek's rich experience with photo / video technology, and drone piloting was later supplemented by Tomáš Barnáš´s skills in 3D applications, which have been since 2016 uniquely combined into a creative photogrammetry and virtual reality under the common brand OVERHEAD.
