Richard’s main area of focus is corporate taxation reflecting Slovak tax and accounting legislation as well as relevant sources of European and international tax law. He has built up a wide range of experience in advising both multinational and Slovak based companies and individuals across industries including pharmaceutical/life-sciences, retail, manufacturing, financial services and real estate.
Richard is a regular speaker on Slovak and international tax conferences and contributor to professional tax magazines (e.g. iStR - Internationales Steuerrecht, etc.). He has a master’s degree in international trade from the University of Economics in Bratislava and has also studied at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Taxes and the tax process are a complex system. In his work, Richard tries to simplify tax communication as much as possible, so that the content is comprehensible even for ordinary people. The goal is for companies to be able to use all the tax diamonds that the system offers and to successfully avoid tax gaps.
