Michal Nešpor

Michal works as a partner of the Crowdberry company, from 2016 to 2020 as a member of the board of directors. Since 2019, he has been working as an executive in the management company CB Investment Management, a subsidiary of Crowdberry, where he manages the investment fund CB Growth ONE. The fund is focused on investments in young companies with a total volume of managed capital of 23 million EUR. As a Crowdberry partner, he is involved in strategic leadership, overseeing the legal side of the group, including managing legal team members and managing internal controls.

He has more than 17 years of experience in the investment environment, primarily working with startups, as well as many years of experience in management positions. He prepared and accompanied young technology companies through the process of finding and negotiating investments with institutional Venture Capital (VC) investors as well as private Business Angel investors. He gained his experience at the VC investment firm GCP Gamma Capital Partners, based in Vienna, Austria. Here he mainly dealt with assessment, negotiation, structuring and execution of investment transactions in the field of information and communication technologies and ecological technologies in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Hungary. At the operational level, he gained valuable experience in the position of financial director in the technology company Opvizor, financed by VC investors, operating in Europe and the USA.

During his career, he managed and supervised equity investments in almost 50 young innovative companies in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Hungary.

He studied corporate finance and banking at the University of Vienna, Austria.
