Iva Kleinová is Director of strategy at VAIA (Research and Innovation Authority of Slovakia). Her team focuses on innovation and talent policies. Iva has a wide range of experiences from the private, public and non-profit sectors. She started her career at McKinsey & Company and spent some time working for or advising the Ministry of finance in Slovakia, the UNDP and the New York City Fire Department. Before her current role, she led the research team at HB Reavis, an international developer. In addition, Iva held senior, strategic roles in talent development for high school and university students, including as Director of an Applied Economics Masters program at CERGE-EI, a prestigious post-graduate institute in Prague. She graduated from Princeton and Columbia universities.
