CapTTict mission is to improve technology transfer from academia to market. Project is realized in 9 countries - the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Romania and Ukraine. Within the scope of the project, partners will work on various activities that will promote entrepreneurial spirit and improve entrepreneurial skills among researchers and students at master and PhD level. We will select several promising deep tech projects from academia environment and will offer them intensive incubation programme, Danube Digital Accelerator, that will help them to build their research activities to serious business with go to market products.

These activities will improve conditions for establishing start-ups by academia researchers or students and will generally contribute to a mutually beneficial connection between academia and business. Furthermore, project will enable networking among experts and researchers with a focus in various AI/ICT fields through the digital platform experts.ai.

Also, we will map the current state of ICT innovation environment in 4 non-EU partner countries, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Ukraine, and will support the development of their domestic Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3).

Project will last until June 2026 and will also promote ongoing work within the European Enterprise Network and European Digital Innovation Hubs network. Project is implemented within the framework of the Interreg Danube Region programme, which supports cooperation between public institutions and the private sector in a very heterogeneous region of 14 countries.
