Michal Číž
Michal has over 10 years of experience working for government and NGOs.
He worked at the Ministry of investment, regional cooperation and informatization of the Slovak Republic, where he was responsible for crafting and implementing of policy strategies with regards to digitization and innovation, including the Digital Transformation Strategy of Slovakia 2030 and the subsequent Digital Transformation Action Plan. Furthermore, he worked on setting up priorities in the area of digitization for both the Slovak Recovery and Resilience Plan and Programme Slovakia, that relates to the new programming period. He regularly represented Slovakia in working groups with focus on digital & innovation agenda within the European Union and OECD.
Michal also worked for GLOBSEC, Bratislava based think-tank, where he was the head of the strategic forums department and managed the organization's flagship events. At the same time, he was project manager of GLOBSEC Bratislava Forum, the most prestigious foreign policy & security conference in CEE.
He received a master's degree in international relations from Matej Bel University and completed a semester at Catholic University in Leuven with a focus on European studies.
