The twins, Martin and Peter, were born in Bratislava. Since childhood, they wanted to become professional cyclists. This dream has come true and both have participated in the world's largest cycling races, such as the Tour de France. In 2016 and 2017 they completed their professional cycling career.
During their professional career in 2013, they founded and operated the Isadore Apparel cycling clothing brand.
Martin is a co-founder and product designer / developer. At Isadore, he and his team oversee the entire production process - from new idea to end product. In the pursuit of excellence, it is his job to check every detail of clothing to ensure that high standards are met. Peter is co-founder and operations manager.
Peter focuses on improving the way Isadore works. It focuses mainly on the number page of things, analyzes data, and proposes new ideas and strategies using this information.
Tell us who you are and what your business is doing in three sentences.
Together with my brother as a former professional cyclist, we started to do what we think we understand most. We have established a brand of premium cycling clothing where we can use our many years of experience in this field. Thanks to a team of people around us we have been bringing our clothes to the world for 5 years.
How are good ideas born and how was yours born?
Knowing the bike clothing segment intimately, my brother and I saw that there was still room for a brand like Isadore on the market. From the beginning we knew that we wanted to be mainly a DTC model and bring new cuts and visuals to cycling. What do you think is an innovation? Innovation is any change that helps a business grow and move forward. As a company we experience more or less innovations every year and that is our goal for the future.
How to transform an idea into a successful business? Just have perseverance. Others will go.
Who is the inspiration for you?
Every person we can learn from. It is up to us what we take from it and how we use it for our further development.
Why are you members of SAPIE?
Mainly because of networking and the company I believe that we will learn and gather inspiration for a long time.
